Bako is a physician-owned provider of a wide array of pathology services ranging from histopathologic examination of bone, soft tissue, skin/nail unit, to microbiology and epidermal nerve fiber density testing.
We pride ourselves on providing superior customer service, concise reports with therapeutic options, photomicrographic imaging, compliant and patient-friendly billing policies, internet report access, and a client/patient comes first business model.
Bako is HIPAA compliant, Medicare approved, CLIA certified, CAP accredited, and licensed by the Georgia Department of Public Health.
Our new state-of-the-art facility is located 30 miles north of Atlanta, in Alpharetta, GA.

Our Mission: We know that you have many options in the realm of laboratory services, yet among your many options, we believe Bako Pathology Services stands apart. As a company, we do not spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on flashy marketing; rather, we grow largely by word of mouth. We are not owned by a billion dollar corporation; instead, we are wholly physician-owned. Our goal is not simply to provide "a competent service", most labs should be able do that. Our mission is to provide you and your staff with such an extraordinary service, from beginning to end, that it augments your professional life. We spare no pain or expense in customizing our facility, reporting, testing menu, and policies toward the needs of our clients. Our job is to be your biggest advocate!
